Out With the Old, In with the New

During the spring, our hotel and ballroom had undergone a major renovation, from hotel guest rooms to all common areas and event space. The newly renovated, beautifully transformed, Sterling Ballroom is the perfect place to tie the knot.

As much as we adored our old ballroom, we wanted to create a space that was more modern and trendy. “It’s important for us to remain relevant in the market. We work with couples on a daily basis, so we know what they’re looking for when it comes to a venue.” our Catering Sales Team said.

We kept a very neutral aesthetic but went with lighter tones. The wallpaper is a light grey, and the paint finishes are white and grey as well. We replaced the carpet and even the dance floor, but one of the things we kept the same were our gorgeous chandeliers.

The ballroom renovation included the main bar and entryway. The bar adds a nice modern touch to the ballroom. The new hanging lights give it a fun, vibrant look and the couples’ can choose from a variety of lighting options to personalize their event. The private entrance houses new décor and a new, modern chandelier. Couples’ can add personalization here with customized seating charts, memory tables, signage, etc. If they choose to forgo the personalization, the elegant private entrance is a breathtaking view itself.

Our staff worked incredibly hard in designing every detail to perfection. Our venue offers a variety of wedding packages and add-ons. We have both indoor and outdoor ceremony areas, an on-site bridal lounge, honeymoon suite and more. Guests enjoy the convenience of having everything in one place including the 178 guest rooms on-site.
