Trendy Themes for your NJ Bridal Shower

January 4, 2023 | Posted in Events, Trends, Weddings

Planning a wedding can be stressful enough and on top of that there is the bridal shower. Bridal showers are an opportunity for the bride to be celebrated by the most special women in her life. Friends, family and new family come together to help her prepare for the big day.

With platforms such as Pinterest and TikTok, giving a bridal shower a theme has become a must. And we mean more than just a color scheme. Event planners search far and wide for a theme that matches the personality of their precious bride.

Don’t look any further because we have some bridal shower theme ideas below that you’re going to LOVE!

1. Petals & Prosecco – this is a timeless theme that will never go out of style. It’s the best way to incorporate the two must-haves for any bridal event: flowers and champagne. We recommend pastel shades of pink, purple, orange or yellow for this theme. A flower wall or arch can be a great addition to give your guests a backdrop for photos. Have bottles of prosecco on display in an ice bucket with roses and petals sprinkled on top. This is an ideal theme for any NJ bridal shower during the spring or summer months.

2. On Cloud 9 – an elegant, minimal theme that is so aesthetically pleasing. This neutral color scheme includes whites, silvers and a soft pop of blue. We recommend white flowers, white balloons and candles as décor. Add pieces of cotton to the room to give that ‘cloud 9’ feel. Bartenders can top the champagne glasses with white cotton candy. Lastly, the dessert table drives the theme home. Cloud shaped cookies, white cake pops, white cotton candy, marshmallows, etc.

3. All I Sea is Love – this theme is perfect for our NJ brides located near the Jersey Shore. Blues, greens, tan and white work best to execute this theme. Decorate the room with flowers, seashells, candles and crystals. For seating cards, use sea glass with your guests’ names. Signature drinks can include rum buckets or piña coladas to give guests that beachy feel. Your dessert table can include white chocolate seashells, blue and white m&m’s, shark gummies, and white chocolate covered treats with blue sprinkles. If you want to add a Jersey Shore tradition, give your guests taffy as a party favor. That is an NJ boardwalk staple!

4. Main Squeeze – short for “she found her main squeeze”. This theme is giving limoncello vibes. Yellow will be the main color in this theme with accents of green and white. A balloon arch or flower wall would be best for a designated photo spot. A lemonade stand would be a great touch or have your bartender create a signature limoncello drink. Place lemons and greenery around the venue. You can use dried fruit slices as a seating card if you’re looking to DIY! This theme is perfect for spring and summer showers.

5. Winter Wonderland but PINK – this is the perfect twist for your winter-themed shower! Rather than using traditional, overdone winter wonderland colors, you use white, silver and pink. Think pink Christmas trees, pink flowers, candles, snowflakes, etc. You can decorate the room with polar bear stuffed animals and cotton to act as snow. For a backdrop you can hang up a white sheet and string lights. It will give that modern, romantic feel. Your dessert table can be filled with pink cupcakes, pink chocolates and pink sprinkles. To execute the winter wonderland, have a hot chocolate bar for your guests. Or offer them s’mores for dessert.
